IDV Pacific provides the following services to clients to:
- Validate international passports,
- Apply for an Australian National Police Check from the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC),
- Obtain Visa information from the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) VEVO (Visa Entitlement Verification Online) system.
This information is presented to clients online and in the form of downloadable PDF or CSV reports (“Reports”). The quality of the information provided to clients is dependent on the quality of any images or information provided by clients and on the accuracy of the data produced by ACIC (Police Checks) and DHA (Visas).
IDV Pacific is not liable for clients supplying incorrect information to us or for any errors in the information provided by ACIC or DHA.
If the Reports delivered to you are in a form that technically can be modified, this does not infer permission to alter the Reports.
You acknowledge and accept that all of the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the features, functionality, design, layout and original content of the Sites are owned by IDV Pacific Pty Ltd. International copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property rights laws protect this property. No part of the IDV Pacific Sites or their content may be copied or reproduced.
Limitation of Liability
The Reports are provided to you for informational purposes only and IDV Pacific accepts no responsibility for any loss suffered by you in using or not using the information contained in them or for any damage suffered as a result of your reliance on the accuracy or currency of information contained in the Report, except where legislation cannot exclude liability.
You may not use the Reports for a purpose or in a manner that is illegal, prohibited by law or that violates our rights.
You indemnify IDV Pacific from and against any losses or damages (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) that IDV Pacific may incur in connection with your use of the Service.
You should take precautions to ensure that in accessing and using the IDV Pacific Services you do not expose you or your company to the risk of viruses, malware, ‘phishing’ attacks or other malicious instruments that may damage your computer system. IDV Pacific takes precautions against these mechanisms. Still, we do not accept responsibility for any interference or damage to your computer system or data which arises in connection with your access to the Sites or the Services.
Links to Other Sites
Our Sites may also contain links to other third-party sites for your convenience. IDV Pacific does not endorse, nor purport to control, monitor or verify the contents of the third-party sites. IDV Pacific shall not be liable for the contents of the Third-Party Sites or any loss, damage or injury sustained by you arising out of use by you of a Third-Party Site.
We may terminate your access to our Services, without cause or notice, which may result in the loss of any Reports we have stored for you. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature, should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Changes To This Agreement
We reserve the right to modify our Terms of Service. Ongoing use of the Sites and Services after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms of Service. Announcements in the IDV Pacific Support Portal
will notify registered users of such changes that impact users.
The laws of New South Wales govern this Terms of Service policy
